I used Aix-en-Provence as a central location from which to explore the region. The town itself is really lively. No doubt it’s one of my new favorite places to visit in Provence. The Cour Mirabeau is the central promenade where one of the many markets take place. On this day, I ventured to Cassis, not even an hour’s drive. We took a boat out to tour les calanques. The private beaches in these coves have warm water and cliffs if you are brave enough to jump. Otherwise, you can just sunbathe on the rocks. After relaxing on the beach, we lounged at one of the many cafés on the waterfront. For dinner, I tried a traditional fish soup which was really quite good. Highly recommend visiting Cassis. Stay tuned, hit the like and subscribe buttons, and follow my next adventure. Cheers!
