Brace yourself for the cable car ride of your life at Chamonix, France. Under the shadow of Mont Blanc, the tallest mountain of the Alps at 4809 meters, there is a téléphérique that goes up to Aiguille du Midi. This rocky peak at 3842 meters above sea level towers above the clouds letting you see vast distances into France, Switzerland, and Italy. The air is thin and glaciers surround, but on this summer day the weather was beautiful looking out from the observation decks. Once you complete the frightening ascent, you can climb through icy tunnels and stand on a glass platform in a see-through chamber pushing your senses to the limit. The town of Chamonix is a peaceful getaway with many sporty travelers. Hikers, climbers, skiers, and marathon runners flock to this haven to flex their abilities. After my trip to Aiguille du Midi I completed the experience with fondue at one of my favorite spots. Hope you can make it here soon and all the best! Make sure to like and subscribe to my channel.
